Bis Invest

Digital

Technology for a smarter tomorrow.

A technology company in Sola, Rogaland. We design and publish Android software that does its whole job on the handset — no account, no server, nothing to sign into.

01 — The company

Bis Invest AS builds software, and only software

Bis Invest AS is registered in Norway at Sør Kolnesvegen 112, 4055 Sola, and is run by Bjørn Inge Sanne. The work is Android applications: designed here, written here, published here under the company's own name.

One thing the name does not mean

Despite what it says on the door, this company offers no financial services of any kind. There is no advice here, no brokerage, no fund, no portfolio and nothing to put money into. The name is simply the company's name. Everything on this site is software.

02 — How the apps are built

The device is the whole system

Each app keeps what it needs in its own private folder on the phone, which Android does not let other apps read. There is no account layer, no synchronisation, no analytics pipeline and no advertising network in the build.

That is partly principle and partly arithmetic: data that never leaves cannot be breached, subpoenaed, resold or quietly retained, and an app with no server behind it still works in ten years, when the server would long since have been switched off.

Tempora com.sealbox.tempora

A private time-capsule journal. You write something today, choose a date in the future, and press the seal — after which the capsule stays shut and unreadable, counting down on its own, until the day you chose arrives.

The vault shows what is waiting as closed envelopes with live countdowns: you can see that something is coming without seeing what it says. On the day, the seal opens and the message from your earlier self is finally yours to read, after which it joins the opened collection. An "on this day" feed brings back what you wrote or opened on this date in previous years. Everything stays on the device, behind an optional PIN, with no account, no cloud and no advertising, in English and Norwegian.

Tempora on Google Play

Pick a date in the future. Which weekday is it?

The Gregorian calendar repeats itself exactly every four hundred years — 146,097 days, which happens to be 20,871 whole weeks, so the pattern of weekdays comes back around with nothing left over. That makes the question below answerable by brute force rather than by opinion: take a day of the month, walk all four hundred years, and count. The counts are never level, and the reason is unglamorous — the months in a cycle do not divide by seven.

Not on this panel: no capsule, no countdown, no calendar to write on and nothing that opens. It counts weekdays in a four-hundred-year cycle and stops there.

04 — Worth saying out loud

If it only lives on the phone, the phone is the only copy

Keeping everything local is the reason Tempora can promise that nobody reads your capsules. It is also the reason we cannot rescue them. There is no copy on our side, no account to restore from and no support ticket that can bring back a message sealed for five years if the handset is lost, wiped or thrown in a fjord.

So: if something in there matters, treat the phone as the original. Android's own backup to your Google Drive, if you have it switched on, is one answer; a factory reset with backup switched off is the way to lose everything at once. We would rather say this plainly than have it discovered in 2031.
